Step 1 – Access the Official Check-MIG Website
Go to the Migración Colombia Check-MIG site. From the homepage, select “Start Applicaion” / “Iniciar Check-Mig” to begin.
If the page is in Spanish, you can switch to English via a language option, or use your browser’s translate function.
Step 2 – Choose Flight Type and Route
You’ll first be asked to enter basic trip information:
- Type of flight – Commercial or private
- Direction – Entry to Colombia or exit from Colombia
- Immigration checkpoint – The airport where you enter/leave (e.g. Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena)
- Travel date – The date of your flight
- Flight number – Only the numbers, without airline letters
Make sure this matches your ticket exactly.
